The Bridge
The bridge across Brewer Street is what makes this a new quad at Pembroke, and not just a remote annex extension.
We are fortunate in having secured the necessary permissions to build our bridge, not least because it allows us to retain one main entrance through our existing porters’ lodge which will continue to be used by all who are part of our College community. Its design is simple yet elegant, providing our link from historic to new.
On walking across from the existing Fellows’ garden off Chapel Quad, the new quad complex opens up ahead.
